| Norman Rockwell The Sphinx 3D Lenticular Postcard
In this painting, Norman Rockwell shows us one method of indoor entertainment employed during the winter months. This illustration appeared on the Post cover in January 1922, during the cold of winter. Then, as now, indoors was more comfortable than outdoors. This boy is dressed for playing indoors. He is not wearing old clothes suitable for playing outdoors. His amusement with the stereoscope and its images are captured in his pursed lips and arched eyebrows. The Sphinx was still a source of excitement.
Norman Rockwell specialized in warm and humorous scenes of everyday small-town life. The cover of The Saturday Evening Post was his showcase for over forty years, giving him an audience larger than that of any other artist in history. This wonderful 1922 piece has been converted into a 3D Lenticular postcard.
3D postcard measures 4" x 6" on heavy cardboard stock. This stunning 3D Postcard comes complete with a paper easel for displaying the beautiful effectiveness of the 3D at any location.
