Charles & Ray Eames List Price $28.95 -now specially priced at $25.88 Charles and Ray Eames rank among the most important American designers of the 20th Century. Known for their groundbreaking contributions to architecture, furniture design, industrial design and manufacturing, and the photographic arts, they were enthusiastic hands-on explorers of new media. It is no surprise to learn that they experimented with 3D photography. Charles & Ray were married in 1941 and moved to California and in 1949 designed and built their own home. Charles died in 1978, Ray in 1988, ten years later to the day. The stereo photographs were taken by Charles & Ray Eames in the 1950s.
